What is the Cardinal Card?

Your Cardinal Card is your official university ID. It provides a variety of campus services. To learn more click here. The Cardinal Card is a necessity of everyday life at Catholic University. Remember to always carry your Cardinal Card.

Your Cardinal Card also works as a debit card at various off campus locations. For a list of current locations, click here.

How do I get a Card?

The Office of Public Safety is responsible for the creation and distribution of cards. You will receive a new Cardinal Card when you arrive on campus before you start classes.

Can my Parents add Cash to the Card?

You or your parents can add cash to your Cardinal Card account using Cardinal Card office on campus.

If you are a parent or guardian adding funds to the Cardinal Card debit feature, you must first obtain a Login ID and Password from the student. As a security feature, this will be sent only to his or her campus email address before funds can be added to the Cardinal Card.
